Last Amazon price update was: 18th May 2024 12:22 pm

The Ecowitt GW1102 weather station consists of the anemometer, solar radiation and UV Sensor, temperature and humidity sensor along with the revised WiFi gateway (GW1100) and self emptying rain gauge making a great sensor set for those that want a modular weather station with full internet access.

Unlike the GW1000 which is configured through the WSView App, this model is configured through a web browser so a smart device is not required for setup.

The anemometer sensor set measures the wind speed, wind direction,UV level and light intensity.

A separate temperature and humidity sensor allows for flexible placement and a separate rain sensor measures rainfall and is self emptying for ease of use.

This data, along with any other sensor data is uploaded to the Ecowitt service via WiFi and can be viewed on the App, or on the Ecowitt weather website.

You are not just limited to weather data on the Ecowitt weather site or App, you can share your data further afield with free access to the UK MetOffice WoW service, Weather Underground, WeatherCloud and your own web server.

Unlike some other stations, the Ecowitt GW1000 can be expanded with a variety of additional sensors which currently include:

  • 1 x WH32 outdoor temperature and humidity sensor
  • 1 x WH40 self-emptying rain gauge sensor
